Castillian has significantly advanced its flagship Hope Brook Gold Project in the mining-friendly jurisdiction of Newfoundland
Updated NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate released October 1, 2012 shows a 102% increase in indicated mineral resources, an increase in average grade overall, and a succesful conversion of resource classifications. Current Mineral Resource estimates are:
- 590,000 indicated ounces of gold
- 548,000 inferred ounces of gold
Outlined a major new near surface target zone 900m southwest of the former mine; technical work for PEA in progress
Excellent potential exists to significantly expand the resource
Completed a 6,000m Fall drilling program which outlined a major new near surface target zone that extends 1,200m along strike
